Little Greene Royal Navy Glazed Metro Tile
We make our Glazed Metro tiles by coating terracotta biscuits with a hand-mixed opaque glaze developed to match our colours.
We use the waterfall method of glazing in which a stream of glaze falls onto the tile as it passes by below on a conveyor belt. The result is a gently undulating surface, and slight variation in depth of colour in parts. Please note that due to the nature of the making process, a repeat is sometimes created in the glaze, and we therefore recommend your tiler selects tiles at random when installing.
